超临界二氧化碳在水平井钻井中的携岩规律研究

Cuttings Carrying Pattern of Supercritical Carbon Dioxide in Horizontal Wells

  • 摘要: 为弄清以超临界二氧化碳为钻井流体钻进水平井时的携岩机理,基于DPM模型,采用数值模拟方法对用超临界二氧化碳钻进水平井时的携岩规律进行了分析。数值模拟结果显示:水平井段环空中岩屑颗粒是分层移动的,随着岩屑向出口运移,岩屑会逐渐向水平井段下部沉降;随着排量和压力的增大、环空间隙的减小,超临界二氧化碳的携岩性能逐渐增强;而随着环空温度升高和岩屑粒径的增大,其携岩性能逐渐减弱。研究结果可为应用超临界二氧化碳钻进的水平井钻井设计提供参考。

     

    Abstract: In order to get a better understanding on the mechanism of cuttings carrying of supercritical carbon dioxide(SC-CO2)in horizontal wells,a numerical simulation method based on the DPM model was used to analyze the cuttings carrying law of SC-CO2 in horizontal wells.The simulation results indicate that the cuttings transport in a stratified flow in horizontal section,and the cuttings will gradually settle to the lower part of the section with the cuttings moving to the outlet;the cuttings carrying capacity of SC-CO2 will gradually increase with the increase of flow rate and pressure as well as the decrease of annular space;but the cuttings carrying capacity will decrease gradually with the increase of temperature and cuttings size.The analysis results can provide references for the design of horizontal wells drilled with SC-CO2.
