Dr. Hao Xiong, is currently a Postdoc at Yale University. He earned his B.S in Petroleum Engineering from Xi’An Shiyou University in 2014, M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from China University of Petroleum-Beijing in 2017, Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2021.

His recent initiatives include applications of analytics (Big Data / AI/ Machine Learning and Deep Learning) in petroleum engineering such as SEM image and time-series data processing, and conventional/unconventional EOR. Dr. Xiong has published more than 30 publications. He has also hosted and co-hosted several journals such as Lithosphere and Geofluids.
