Abstract
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, PetroChina's equipment enterprises, focusing on the development needs of deep and ultra-deep oil & gas, shale gas, and offshore resources, achieved breakthroughs in key technological bottlenecks through sustained research and development. These advancements include 10,000-meter-class drilling rig design and manufacturing, high-power intelligent fracturing equipment, high-temperature and high-pressure downhole tools, and offshore equipment, leading to a series of major innovations. Notable achievements include the development of automatic drilling rig for 12000m extra-deep wells, model 7000 electric fracturing skid and all-electric fracturing solution for the entire well site, high-temp downhole motor. These breakthroughs have enabled the formation of critical equipment technology series, such as ultra-deep drilling, electric fracturing, and deep-sea Christmas trees, which have supported key projects like the Tarim Fuman Oilfield, Daqing Gulong, South Sichuan Shale Gas Field. These advancements provide strong technical and equipment support for enhancing oil and gas resource extraction efficiency and economic viability. Driven by the multi-dimensional factors of the deep adjustment of the global energy structure, the continuous fluctuations in the geopolitical and economic landscape, and the iterative innovation of disruptive technologies, the petroleum equipment industry will usher in a critical period of transformation. It is rapidly advancing toward higher efficiency, intelligence, and sustainability, significantly improving operational performance while reducing lifecycle maintenance costs. By strengthening the industrial foundation and enhancing the resilience and security of supply chains, PetroChina's equipment sector will further drive product upgrades and efficiency improvements, significantly reduce the full lifecycle operation and maintenance costs, and play a pivotal role in safeguarding national energy security.
