Development and Application of Flow Control Screen Completion for Horizontal Wells

  • 摘要: 为解决水平井筛管完井后期出现的高含水或水淹问题,研究了水平井控流筛管完井技术。首先,利用数学模拟方法建立了三维模型,得到了流体在控流筛管流道内的流动特点;然后,通过室内试验得到了控流筛管中流体黏度、流量和压差3个关键参数之间的对应关系,并建立了数学模型;最后,利用筛管性能评价装置,对控流筛管的基本性能以及控流能力进行了测试。水平井控流筛管完井技术已在胜利油田12口井进行了现场应用,验证了数学模拟和室内试验结果,控流筛管性能满足现场应用要求,增压控流结构对流体产生了有效的控制和阻流作用,达到了设计要求。现场应用表明,水平井控流筛管完井有效降低了水平井含水率,延长了油井寿命。

     

    Abstract: To solve the high water cut or watered out which has occurred in horizontal wells completed with screen in the late development stage,the completion with flow control screen for horizontal wells has been developed.Firstly,a 3D model was set up using mathematical simulation method to obtain the flowing characteristics of fluid in the flow control screen,and then the relationships between viscosity,flow rate and pressure difference were determined by lab test,and the corresponding mathematical model was set up,finally basic properties of the screen pipe and flow control ability were tested by using screen performance evaluation device.The technique has been used on 12 wells in Shengli Oilfield,which had verified the results of mathematical simulation and laboratory test,and proved the performance of flow control screen met the demand of field application,pressure control structure could effectively control and block fluid flow in horizontal wells,meeting design requirement.By decreasing water cut of horizontal wells,the technique could extend the working life of the oil wells.
