The Drilling Tool Integrity Management on the Basis of Risk-Based Inspection

  • 摘要: 探索建立科学合理的在役钻具检测、评价、维护和使用管理体系,对有效防止钻具失效而引发井下故障具有重要意义.基于风险检测(RBI)的理念,提出了依据钻具失效风险实施完整性管理的方法,阐述了该管理方法的流程及主要内容,分析了钻具失效定性与定量风险评价应考虑的主要因素,探讨了基于风险的钻具检测策略和建立钻具技术状态及适用性评价标准的主要依据,结合磁记忆检测技术的应用实例,介绍了实现钻具视情状态维修与使用管理的途径.实践表明,基于风险检测的钻具完整性管理,对于准确掌握钻具技术状态、有效防止因异常状态钻具入井而引发的井下故障及保障钻具资源的合理利用具有重要作用.

     

    Abstract: The establishment of a scientific and reasonable management system for the in-service drilling tool detection,assessment,maintenance and utilizations is very important to prevent downhole troubles caused by drilling tool failure. A drilling tool integrity management method on the basis of risk-based inspection (RBI) is proposed, and the management process and its content are described. The main factors which should be taken into account in the risk assessment of drilling tool failure are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The strategy of risk-based inspection and primary basis for evaluating the technical condition of drilling tools as well as its applicability have been investigated. The ways to achieve drilling tool maintenance and management based on its condition were illustrated through the application examples of magnetic memory inspection. Practice shows that the drilling tools integrity management through RBI method can play an important role in monitoring the technical condition of drilling tools, preventing damaged tools from running in hole and resulting in downhole troubles, keeping the reasonable utilization of tool resources.
