复合冲击钻具的研制及现场试验

Development and Field Application of a Compound Percussive Jet

  • 摘要: 为了进一步提高硬地层的机械钻速,同时控制PDC钻头的黏滑振动,将扭力冲击器和旋冲钻具的特点相结合,研制了同时给PDC钻头提供高频单向轴向冲击和往复扭转冲击的复合冲击钻具。通过地面试验验证了复合冲击钻具的可行性并测试了其性能,结果表明,复合冲击钻具能实现轴向冲击和扭转冲击功能,冲击频率、冲击功和压降随排量增大而增大,随喷嘴直径增大而减小。在葡4-32井的现场试验结果表明:使用复合冲击钻具后,与邻井“螺杆+PDC钻头”复合钻井相比,机械钻速提高了60.2%;试验过程中,PDC钻头未出现黏滑振动和崩齿现象。研究结果表明,复合冲击钻具能提高硬地层机械钻速,并能控制PDC钻头的黏滑振动,起到保护PDC钻头的作用。

     

    Abstract: To further enhance ROP in hard formations and to minimize stick-slip vibration of PDC bits, by combining the features of torsional impact devices and rotary drilling tools,a compound percussive jet for PDC bits which can output high-frequency uni-directional axial impact and reciprocal rotation impact simultaneously has been developed.Tests have been conducted to verify the feasibility and performance of the newly-developed compound percussive jet.The test results showed the innovative compound percussive jet could effectively provide axial impact and rotary impact simultaneously,and its impact frequency, impact power and pressure drop increased with the increase of pumping rate,and decreased with nozzle diameter increase.Field test results of Well Pu-4-32 showed with the application of the innovative compound percussive jet,the ROP of the well increased by 60.2% over the neighboring wells using the PDM+PDC bit compound drilling tools. During the test, the PDC bit had no stick-slip vibration, and the recovered bit didn’t lose any tooth. In conclusion, in addition to enhancing the ROP in hard formations,the innovative compound percussive jet could effectively minimize stick-slip vibration of and provide necessary protection to the PDC bit.
